Agua Sarca
Description
The Nicaragua Agua Sarca is a unique specialty Arabica coffee produced in the mountainous region of Nueva Segovia, by the dedicated producers of Agua Sarca. The coffee grows at an altitude of about 1,300 to 1,500 meters above sea level, where the cool climate and rich volcanic soil contribute to the optimal development of the coffee cherries.
The variety used is Maracaturra, a cross between Maragogype and Caturra. This unique variety is known for its large beans, full body, and pronounced flavor complexity.
What makes this coffee extra special is the semi-washed process. In this method, part of the mucilage remains on the bean during drying, which provides additional sweetness and creaminess in the cup, without losing freshness and clarity.
